NS Bohunice (Bohunice ET)

Since 2005, this trail with 11 stations made by the Severka hiking group has tried to introduce Bohunice residents and others to the environment, history, and local curiosities of their home.

It’s a collection of many previously forgotten interesting facts and historical photos. Over 12 kilometres, visitors learn about such topics as a comparison of cities and villages; the environment of gardens, fields, and field borders; historic old forges; conciliation stones; the impact of the Thirty Years’ War; and a visit by President Beneš to the original Bohunice hospital. They also look for baroque statues of Pope Innocent and St John of Nepomuk and sing a song about the local bridge over a stream.
